Edureka PMP Review: Pros & Cons Of Training Course | 2024

Edureka offers live online classes on 100+ topics. PMP certification exam preparation is one of them.

PMP (Project Management Professional) is a globally recognized certification for working project managers. Per the latest salary survey from PMI (Project Management Institute), certified PMPs earn 16% higher on average than non-certified professionals.

Edureka is a PMI ATP (Authorized Training Partner. Its PMP courses are pre-approved by PMI for applying to the PMP exam.

Edureka is based in Bangalore and was founded by three great minds Lovleen Bhatia, Kapil Tyagi, and Vineet Chaturvedi.

The company has partnered with various NIT (National Institute of Technology), Warangal and Rourkela, and other technical institutes to up-skill their students.

Along with providing project management courses, Edureka also provides many other professional courses to boost your career, including courses on data science, DevOps, cloud computing, and big data.

The company has also set up a blog and a community forum for its students where you can find answers to your questions, ask for help or help someone else.

The about page on the company’s website says, “There are countless online education marketplaces on the internet. And there’s us. We are not the biggest…We are ridiculously committed to our students.”

Pros

Edureka PMP training is live online, and you can ask questions or interact with the trainer during the class. You can choose from weekday or weekend batches to enrol on the training.

Lifetime Access

After purchasing the course, you can use it for an indefinite time. There is no expiry date. However, you should attempt the PMP exam within two months of completing the training; otherwise, it will be hard for you to revise the syllabus and PMBOK Guide.

24X7 expert support

Even after you complete your classes, you will get a one-on-one 24×7 online support team to resolve all your technical queries, through a ticket-based tracking system, for a lifetime.

Mobile app

Edureka released its Android app a few days ago, and you can download it directly from Google Play Store. You can access video content and the simulator directly through your Android phone. It will give you a good feel and keep you excited.

Cons

No simulator

Edureka training is very convincing and up to the mark, but you will need an exam simulator with this training. The PMP exam simulator is an essential tool to pass the PMP exam. No prior information of trainers

While looking on the training page of Edureka, you can find all the information, but the name of the trainers are not mentioned anywhere. However, Edureka claims they have world-class instructors, but you will find it only during the training.

No prior information of handouts

I highly doubt that Edureka will not provide any helping documents during the training, but there are 50-50 chances. They haven’t mentioned anything about helping documents on their training page.

After enrolling on the course, you will get access to the Edureka community forum, where you can ask questions or discuss things with fellow students.

No simulator

This PMI ACP training comes only with 100 questions. With a simulator, it will be easier to crack the exam in your first try. Also, 100 questions will not help you to gain enough confidence to sit in the exam.

No support from trainer

You will need a medium to connect with your trainer. Sometimes you can feel connected with the trainer and get your query results, but you will be disappointed.
